For the first five years of my legal career, I worked at a private firm in Meredith and Londonderry, New Hampshire. I practiced in the areas of civil litigation, municipal law, real estate law, insurance law, commercial litigation, and appellate matters. After that, I worked at a Concord, NH law firm, where I began to expand my practice into family law and estate planning.
Durng my time actively practicing law, I participated actively in the New Hampshire Bar Association and its Leadership Academy. I also belonged to the Bar Association's Municipal Law and Real Estate sections. I was a member of its CLE Committee, helping plan training events for other attorneys. I've also authored a number of articles for the New Hampshire Bar News, the Bar's monthly print newspaper.
I was also active in the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association (NHWBA) and served on its Board of Directors for three years. I am still thrilled to be among the attorneys included in the newest edition of Women and Law: Lessons Learned Along the Pathways to Success, which hwas released in Fall 2015.
In 2015, I returned to my former profession of marketing communications (MarComm). From 2020 to 2023, I worked for the New Hampshire Bar Assocation as its Director of Marketing, Communications, and Member Outreach.
I am considering opening a business offering MarComm services to law firms. If this interests you, please contact me.
